Casanova
As
the adventurer and archaeologist Indiana Jones and admirer
of the film directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas fan
of, I have wanted to make these short films like way to make
a tribute. A day I decided to write a script stops in a future
to make a short film about our hero Henry Jones Jr My intention
like scriptwriter and director was to create the new history
that the pattern respected since created of the personage,
but being able to introduce new personages, situations, objecs
that to look for... All this adventure began as a diversion
but in the end became everything a challenge for me. When
it wrote east script had not thought about dedicating to me
to this world of the cinema simply did like hobbie. From small
I have made things with the camera and the cinema always is
fascinating similarity to me. But I focused my life towards
the Tourism since being of where I am (Canary Islands) it
saw this race with more possibilities to work in a future.
Also I recognize that it was scared to leave my house, of
my earth.. Since knew that if wanted to dedicate my life to
me to the cinema it had to study outside. But still studying
something totally different I did not let continue making
my small short with my friends. Doing these short ones it
passed it very well and it enjoyed doing them. I must say
that until the moment it had not studied anything related
to the audio-visual thing and nor if it wants had read some
technical book, but if that had soaked to me of films. Then
a day I found out an aid of cortometrajes who was going away
to make and decided to do a short one and to present/display
it. The short one was called OPORTUNIDAD. and it is that it
pleased so much that awarded to me with the First Prize. The
night of the prizes was decisive for me, since that night
supported by the public and advised by the members of the
jury, I decided to go to by all and trying to get to be a
Director of cinema. Nowadays I continue working much and waiting
for eager the day in that it can make my first largometraje
and turn to me a good Director... It is a long, hard and difficult
way but I am going to obtain it... It is my dream.
Returning
to the short one from Indiana Jones, with this short one I
learned much, since besides to direct it also I were Scriptwriter,
Actor and mounter. Also it is necessary to say that this short
one was rolled completely in Tenerife (Canary Islands) and
that all the equipment was formed by people other people's
to the world of the cinema. All this adventure began in my
house with a page in target that with the passage of the days
went away transforming into a script. I did not have nor idea
of how making a script, like it was his structure, or of how
taking a pre-production, of how to relieve a map... did everything
of an innate form and letting take to me. When it already
had the finished script I put myself to look for friends whom
they loved to participate in this adventure. Little by little
I was finding people whom she loved to collaborate as much
as actors as equipment and to those who I appreciate its collaboration
enormously. Soon simultaneously which it was working with
clothes of the personages also it was looking for the locations.
For the search of the locations it took my knapsack to me
and my camera and was going to me to walk in search of the
perfect site. Thus little by little I was leaving it everything
prepared for the first day of running. The running was made
during a month but working about two days to the week, since
the most complicated era to reunite to all the equipment in
a day in concrete. The pre-production, production and post-production
included everything a summer. During the running changes of
script were made and the improvisation was always present.

The
worse era when you arrived at house and you visualized what
you had rolled and you saw that you had to return to repeat
a few planes. In the running always there was good atmosphere
and mutual understanding between the equipment, although
there were very hard days. Of the locations, most difficult
to roll and also hardest, it was the interior of the cave
in Daisy Island (Tenerife).
We
had to make the corresponding sequences in several days
and the worse era work within the cave since we were to
several meters of the exit. And to make matters worse single
we were three people reason why the work was multiplied.
When a day of running finished, you finished totally exhausted.
For all the locations except the interior of the office
of Mark Carter, we had to go in Jeep during hours. For example
to go to roll to the Cave we had to descend with the Jeep
towards the coast but it arrived a little while in which
we could not follow with the car and we had to follow foot.
The long walk lasted about 40 minutes until arriving at
the entrance from the cave, being most of the way a reduction
towards the beach. I consider that the locations well are
selected and suitable to all an adventure of Indiana Jones.
For it we always rolled in natural and full scenery of beauty.
Also changes of locations were made that I had to think
at the moment. In fact the principle of El Hidden Treasure,
which begins in the Forests of Austria (the Boiler, Tenerife),
was begun to roll in Africa of the North (the Gorges of
the Teide, Tenerife). But when we met the equipment to continue
rolling what we had left, is that the actor who did of bad
(John Cristiansen), was impossible to him to go until Las
Gorges. since in the same day an important commitment arose
to him. It is that to go until the running place, we took
1 Hour and average single to arrive and clear did not give
time to do it everything. Then I had to think about the
act another site where to roll and that it was adapted to
history. I remembered that weeks back it had been going
to walk by the zone of La Boiler. (North of Tenerife) and
it had been by a precious precipice that I had liked enough.
And in the end it was there where we rolled and we saved
the day. The rest of Locations was respected to the complete
one and single slight modifications without importance became.
Dispatch of Mark Carter. one became in the house of a friend
and Isla de Margarita. it was made in the North coast (the
Boulevards of I castrate, the Realejos).
With
the accomplishment of these cortometrajes I have proven
things, improved others and learned many more. And in addition
I like much as much to them since the equipment as actors
are formed by friends, relatives, known... and therefore
they are everything a memory that I will always maintain
in my heart. I would like to be thankful to all his collaboration
